I found these solutions
- the upgrade updated the kernel but did not create the associated initramfs image file for that kernel. I rebooted using the old kernel and forced the re-installation of the latest kernel with yum reinstall kernel-ml-4.12.4-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64. The re-installation generated the /boot/initramfs-4.12.4-1.el7.elrepo.x86_64.img.
- journalctl -u nmd.service show a message: unreachable file libwbclient.so.0. After googling I found : cd /etc/ld.so.conf.d/; echo /usr/lib64/samba/wbclient >> samba-fix.conf; ldconfig. And then I manage to restart the services nmb and smb.
